Evaluation Consultant for Education Minnesota Foundation - Surveyed a stratified random sample of the Education Minnesota Foundation members to determine the needs of their membership.  Expert for the plaintiffs in Alaska adequacy of education lawsuit (Moore, et al. v. State of Alaska) - Qualified as an expert witness in statistics, evaluation, research methods, systems analysis, educational psychology, adequacy of education, and the relationship of school performance to finance variables.  Statistical and Evaluation Consultant with EnSearch, Inc. for Lifetrack Resources and funded by the Joyce Foundation and the McKnight Foundation - Performed the comprehensive statistical analyses for Advancement Plus, a transitional jobs program to assist clients moving from welfare to work, each year from 2001 – 2004. Determined the number of barriers (personal, family, and housing) participants had and identified the threshold at which they were successful in obtaining and maintaining full-time employment.   Statistical and Evaluation Consultant with EnSearch, Inc. for US West / NEA Minnesota Teacher Network project - Performed a comprehensive quantitative analysis for two cohorts of teachers (approximately 250 in each) with the pre-test and posttest results, as well as a factor analysis on the evaluation instrumentation. Qualitative and quantitative results showed that significant learning had occurred for the participants.  Evaluation Consultant for the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) for the Department of Education for Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers to Use Technology (PT3) grant - Performed the external evaluation; designed the evaluation instrumentation using the ISTE Technology Standards for Teachers and a technology skills assessment; analyzed the data using SPSS; and reported the results.  Evaluation Consultant for Community Action Council for Minnesota State Children’s Trust Fund and Victim Impact Program grants - Served as the external evaluator; analyzed the data using SPSS; factor analysis results led to the redesign of the agency’s instrumentation.   Evaluation and Statistical Consultant for The Minnesota Literacy Council, acting on behalf of the St. Paul Community Literacy Consortium (SPCLC) - Analyzed the CASAS testing results for ESL students at a low level. Results from this evaluation prompted the State of Minnesota to allow multiple test vendors’ assessments to be used.  Statistical and Evaluation Consultant for The College of St. Catherine, Department of Nursing - Evaluated the effectiveness of new instruments to assess student learning using pre-tests and posttests given to students in the third year nursing course.
